1) Why duplicate content won’t bring you the results you expect in the end

There is a huge misconception in the content writing community that if you submit the exact same article to all the article directories that you know, search engines will actually recognize these articles which point back to your site. This will give you hundreds of back links and Google will send millions of visitors to your website. This is wrong.

Search engines are intelligent!   They have different systems installed because staying ahead of other search engines is important to them.   Their success will depend on how well they provide the users with high quality, relevant results.    If you have identical content on hundreds of different websites, and if a search engines shows up all these duplicate content, then users will not want to use that particular search engine again.   This is why search engines have installed something called the Duplicate Content Filters. 

In simpler terms, if you publish an article of yours on two different sites, when the search engine sees both pages, these filters will recognize that both articles are identical.   In most cases both of them will be banned for duplicate content.    There is a chance that you might get traffic from these sites but it’s only if a reader clicks on your URL and the chance of this happening is probably 1 in 1000. 

2) What are Automatic Article Spinners/rewriters ?  

Automatic article “spinners” work on a very simple concept. They find synonyms for the words in your article and just replace them. This may sound like a very easy and quick method but only to find that the reality is a harsh truth; you will end up with useless articles. Just have a look at the example. Here is a sentence from an article re- written through a spinner.

True enough, this method will give you a brand new sentence in no time but the new sentence is completely senseless!   Obviously you will not get anywhere with such meaningless content and it will only tarnish your reputation in your future endeavors too!   You have to keep in mind that the editors of article directories are professionals and they want content which will attract more traffic. So if your article does not appear to be readable to them, it’s NEVER going to get into the directory!
